The owner of Foothill Auto Service, Glenn Larsen, was raised in a family where cars were a predominant theme. After hours, Glenn's father worked on vehicles in their garage, and eventually, he opened his own garage behind a gas station. At a young age, Glenn quickly learned the ins and outs of auto repair and the value of integrity and quality in that work. These qualities were the hallmarks on which Glenn's father built his auto repair business and provided him with a reputation for exceptional service in the car repair industry. Glenn attended college, where he played basketball on a scholarship. However, he found his way back to wrenching on cars at the gas station and became an ASE-Certified technician while rubbing elbows with the Hollywood movie stars that would fuel up at the station.

Glenn worked for ten years as an ASE-Certified auto mechanic in other shops until he was introduced to Lou, the original owner of Foothill Auto Service. Glenn promptly purchased the shop on a handshake deal with a clear vision of what his auto repair business would look like under his leadership.
